Adopt-A-Spot
Missouri City Green Adopt-A-Spot Program in conjunction with the City of Missouri City provides volunteers with a means to help keep our community a clean and beautiful place to live, work, and play. Volunteers clean an adopted spot at least three times a year for two years, and in return, receive city-wide recognition for their efforts. In addition, volunteers have access to cleanup equipment and supplies and you can report your cleanup results online. Being an Adopt-A-Spot volunteer gives participants an opportunity to give back to the community, teach their children about community responsibility, receive positive publicity for their business or organization and gain valuable community volunteer experience.
The program is free and open to:
Program Guidelines:
Is there a list of available spots?
You are invited to request any location of any size that is within Missouri City and not currently adopted. Missouri City Green can help you select a location that is close to your home/school/business and is appropriate to the capabilities and size of your group.
Preference will be given to those places that appear neglected, but some suggestions include parks, trails, roads, and creek banks.
