Plant With A Purpose
Join us for a workshop on the best native plants for our area.  Our speaker, Mary Parkhouse is a Fort Bend Master Gardener and also a certified Texas Master Naturalist™ Coastal Prairie Chapter.  Learn how to add easy-care native plants to your surroundings to attract bees, butterflies, songbirds, and other pollinators. Create a "Living Landscape" in your yard with nectar, pollen and berry sources that native wildlife need to survive.

Free Plant Give Aways
We will be raffling off native plants and also native milkweed for participants to grow in their gardens.

This free event is a partnership of Missouri City Green, the City of Missouri City and Fort Bend Master Gardeners.

Storm Drain Marker Event

Join us in installing markers on storm drains!  These simple markers help remind residents and yard crews - Nothing But Rain Down the Drain!  

Anything placed in our storm drains may end up in Galveston Bay!  That includes oil, grass clippings and trash on our streets.  This has a serious impact not just on our City, but on our streams and Galveston Bay!

​​Sign up an individual, family or service organization. Students earn service hours. All participants must sign up and complete a waiver in order to participate. Student under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
