Electronic Recycling
Missouri City Green, in collaboration with the City of Missouri City and Missouri City Parks & Recreation Department, holds an annual electronic recycling event for the community. Participants drive through the line to recycle their unwanted, outdated and broken electronics. Donated items will be refurbished by CompuCycle (our vendor which is a R2 Certified Recycler) where possible, or broken down so that their valuable component parts can be put back into the manufacturing process.

Storm Drain Marker
Missouri City Green, in partnership with Missouri City Public Works Department, organizes one day events for volunteers to install markers on storm drain inlets in Missouri City neighborhoods. These markers are used to remind residents and lawn crews that Nothing but Rain Down the Drain! Debris entering into our storm drains may end up in Galveston Bay. This includes oil, grass clippings and any trash on our streets. This has a serious impact not just on our City, but on our streams and the Gulf of Mexico.
